Career preparedness, safety, and student mental health will be priorities when Jackson County Schools welcome students back for the new academic year at the newly built Kevin Dukes Career and Innovation Academy located in Jackson County Industrial Park. Superintendent Jason Davidson pointed out that the Academy will introduce additional opportunities in STEM and fine arts. And, a $65,000 grant will go toward anti-bullying initiatives and help upgrade security systems, Davidson noted.
