It’s 2023, so maybe we need to loosen up a bit. If you’re single, what would you consider the IDEAL date to unleash the first kiss: Date #1, Date #2, Date #3 . . . or the date of your wedding?
A dating website recently conducted a survey, and found that 45% of people say the second date is the perfect time to have the first kiss. 26% say the third date . . . and 15% say the first date.
That said, 68% of singles say they’d be open to kissing someone on Date #1. 80% say they’d kiss on the second date . . . and 88% would be open to kissing on the third date.
21% of people said you should ask someone if you can kiss them before going in for a first kiss . . . only 4% said to go in for the kiss without asking . . . and 75% said it depends on the situation.
And whenever it happens, keep it under control. 98% stated that the ideal first kiss should be less than 10 seconds. And more specifically, 67% of people say that a first kiss should be between three and five seconds.
