Bob Saget was found dead in a hotel room in Orlando, Florida Sunday. There’s no word on the cause of death. Police say there were no signs of foul play or drug use. He was 65 years old.
Bob was in the middle of a standup tour, and he’d just performed the night before in Jacksonville.
After the show, he posted a selfie and said, quote, “Loved tonight’s show . . . Appreciative audience . . . I had no idea I did a two-hour set tonight. I’m happily addicted again to this [stuff]. Check BobSaget.com for my dates in 2022.”
His body was discovered sometime before 4:00 P.M. by hotel security.
Bob was best known for playing Danny Tanner on “Full House” and “Fuller House”, and he was the narrator on “How I Met Your Mother”. He was also the original host of “America’s Funniest Home Videos”. He kept that gig from 1989 to 1997.
Bob’s “Full House” co-star JOHN STAMOS Tweeted, quote, “I am broken. I am gutted. I am in complete and utter shock. I will never ever have another friend like him. I love you so much Bobby.”
And his youngest TV daughters MARY KATE and ASHLEY OLSEN said, quote, “Bob was the most loving, compassionate and generous man. We are deeply saddened that he is no longer with us but know that he will continue to be by our side to guide as gracefully as he always has.”
One of the other Tanner kids, CANDACE CAMERON BURE, Tweeted, quote, “I don’t know what to say. I have no words. Bob was one of the best human beings I’ve ever known in my life. I loved him so much.”
And DAVE COULIER said, quote, “My heart is broken. I love you, Bob. Your forever brother, Dave.”
PETE DAVIDSON called Bob “one of the nicest guys on the planet,” and said Bob would spend hours on the phone helping him through, quote, “some rough mental health stuff.”
Even RUSSELL CROWE got in on the act, Tweeting, quote, “Bob Saget. A good hang, a good chat. Kind, funny, generous. RIP.”
