The Smoky Mountain High School Interact Club collected around 750 canned goods and 20 bags of rice for The Community Table. The group is led by advisor Daphne Hughes. The club is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Sylva.
Interact is Rotary International’s service club for young people ages 12 to 18. Interact clubs are sponsored by individual clubs which provide support and guidance, but they are self-governing and self-supporting.
