8th Annual Craft Show Slated For July 15th
On Saturday, July 15, 2023, once again over 40 booths will line Front Street in Dillsboro, NC, with regional fine artists and fine crafters intermingled with the sounds of family entertainment. Wafting through the air will be the aroma of tasty festival foods! Festivals in Dillsboro, an historic mountain small town, always offers a good time, hosting with local artisans, quaint shops, exceptional restaurants, and friendly people.
Located on Front Street, the artisans will be waiting to share their stories with you along with their wares. Some of the best handmade art forms and homemade products will line the street! The intimate and personal shopping experience attained from a handmade purchase is a feeling that a big box store in unable to match: originality, quality, creativity, local artisan support, plus shopping “one on one under the tent” helps keep traditions alive in a Eco-Friendly atmosphere! Among this year’s crafters is Joan Stocker who will share her loom beading and will also be happy to share her pleasure of winning first place in the craft show last year. Jennifer Strall’s wind chimes and jewelry will dazzle! Check out Jim Wildasin’s cutting boards, Cindy Brockway’s magnetic therapy jewelry, and Rebekah Moody’s “Nothing Bundt Cakes!” There are so many more fine arts and crafts to view, and much more fun to experience!

10:30am——Anna Victoria—A Blue Ridge Balladeer Country Singer & Songwriter from Sylva, NC. Anna Victoria and her music have entertained live at many local establishments: the Paper Mill Lounge, the Lazy Hiker, The Innovation Station, The Front Porch and many festivals in the area.
12:00pm and 1pm——Suzie Copeland—Gracing pop music stages since 1979, Susie features song selections from many eras. Remarkably versatile live vocal, combined with tasteful percussion on top of the highest performance tracks available ~ a truly unique show with something for everyone!
2 pm—Twelfth Fret—Husband and wife team featuring a acoustic duo with Craig Neidlinger on guitar and Kim Neidlinger on upright bass. Twelfth Fret performs original as well as pop and classic rock covers of music by John Prine, America, The Beatles, David Bowie, The Eagles, Elton John, Tom Petty and more.
Lots of great tasting food will be available during the festival, along with several first class restaurants to choose from! The arts and crafts show is free, with a small parking fee that includes a shuttle from Monteith Park directly to the festival itself. All in all, Dillsboro Merchants have drawn together a really fine arts and craft show to share with those who come to visit their charming village on July 15h! You can even bring your dog (on a leash)!
