Meet Hooch! Hooch is a 1 year old neutered male hound mix who weighs about 45 lbs and has been here for 175 days. Hooch is just a big puppy with a lot of puppy mannerisms. He does jump a lot, but that is something that can be worked with. He is a little timid of new people, as he’s had very few visitors in his time here, but he warms up quickly. Hooch loves to play with toys and would play for hours if you were willing to play with him. He seems to like other dogs, but meet and greets are recommended. He’s a sweet boy who really needs a forever home soon. He’s tired of going back and forth from the kennel to the play yard and back. Come meet Hooch!

Meet Titus! Titus is a 1.5 year old male bully breed mix who is medium sized. Titus is not neutered yet, but check back later or call the staff to find out when he will be ready to go home. Titus is a tad shy at first, mainly in the kennel and with leash walking, but he warms up very quickly. He is very sweet and wiggly! He’s very affectionate and seems to care more about being loved on than playing with toys. He can get excitable and jump up a lot, but this can be worked with. He came in with another male dog, and he seems to be playful but dominant through the fence with other dogs, so meet and greets are recommended. He will not do well in a house with cats or dogs in the home. Please call the shelter to meet Titus!

Meet Snickerdoodle! Snickerdoodle is a 10-11 month old spayed female hound mix who has unfortunately grown up in the shelter. She’s been here for 155 days and we really want to find her forever home soon! She is a very sweet girl with a lot of puppy energy! She is still working on her manners, as she likes to jump, but she does calm down after she’s been out for a while. She also calms down and does better when on a leash rather than unleashed in a play yard. She also loves belly rubs! She seems like she would like other dogs, as she came in with two of her siblings who have long been adopted, but meet and greets are always recommended. If you’d like to meet Snickerdoodle, stop by or call the shelter!

Luna is a 1 year old spayed female who only weighs about 35-40 lbs. She’s been here for 187 days with little to no interest. Luna is very sweet, has a moderate energy level, and can be playful with other dogs through the fence. She gets so excited when you take her out to the play yard, she’ll get the zoomies for a little bit! She was around a group of children at our event and she did fine with them, but did appear to be a little uncomfortable (could be because of the large group). If you have kids or other dogs, please bring them in for a meet and greet. Please stop by or call the shelter to meet Luna!

Meet Ozzy! Ozzy is a 5 year old male poodle mix who is large-sized. He is not neutered yet, but he would love to have visitors in the meantime. Ozzy came in with a female Newfoundland and was very matted, but thanks to a groomer who graciously volunteered to groom him and his friend, he looks (and probably feels) much better! Take a look at the first picture compared to the others for a before and after comparison. Ozzy is a sweet boy who has a lot of energy, loves to play, and loves affection. Ozzy may be fine with other dogs since he came in with another one, but meet and greets are always recommended. Also keep in mind that poodle mixes need regular brushing and grooming, so be prepared for meeting those needs. If you would like to meet Ozzy, stop by or call the shelter!

Precious can be a bit environmentally sensitive, so she must have a family that's willing to help her learn what compassion and endearment is. Precious is spayed.
