Future of building restrooms on Spring Street in Sylva being studied
The future of building bathrooms on Spring street in Sylva remains clogged. Sylva leaders are receiving public input regarding the recent test closure of Spring Street in the downtown district and said they will review public comments and traffic data they collected and make a decision in the next month or so whether to permanently close the short stretch of Spring Street that connects Main and Mill streets, to place restrooms there. For three weeks, they’re measuring the impact on traffic, and watching the flow to nearby Landis Street.
