Which New Music Release Is Your Favorite This Week? Vote!
The temperatures might be getting chillier, but the new music landscape is only heating up thanks to fresh releases from Summer Walker, Miley Cyrus and more.
This week, the R&B tastemaker finally unveiled her long-awaited Finally Over It, the third installment in her Over It album series. Through dynamic collaborations with everyone from Chris Brown to Bryson Tiller, 21 Savage, Sailorr, Brent Faiyaz and Doja Cat, Walker explores her mindset on love in two parts, as split between discs titled “For Better” and “For Worse.”
Other collections that dropped at the November midpoint are Mount Pleasant, Kelsea Ballerini’s six-track mini album that turns the focus inward following her breakup from actor Chase Stokes, and Lewis Capaldi’s Survive, an EP that comes as the British hitmaker is finally finding balance in his music career after previously having to step away for mental health reasons. Plus, Jessie Murph built on the momentum of her Billboard 200 top 10 album Sex Hysteria by unveiling its deluxe edition, complete with eight new tracks.
As far as new singles go this week, both Miley Cyrus and Dominic Fike dropped tracks. Inspired by her harrowing personal experience with losing her home to California wildfires in 2018, the former shared “Dream as One,” a cinematic track written specially for the upcoming Avatar sequel Fire and Ash. The latter dropped “White Keys” — a longtime fan favorite that never got an official release, until now — ahead of his performance at Tyler, the Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw festival.
But which of those new releases is your favorite? Billboard wants to know. Tell us by casting your vote in the poll below!
