Cullowhee, N.C. – Western Carolina volleyball flexed its muscles down the stretch in Tuesday night’s home-opener, rallying from a 2-1 deficit with consecutive convincing set wins to secure the five-set victory over mountain rival UNC Asheville, on Ingles Court at the Ramsey Center. WCU won the match 25-20, 26-28, 18-25, 25-14, 15-8 to earn its second five-set win in the last three matches.
