Pawley’s Island, S.C. – Playing in his first event since transferring to Western Carolina from Charlotte during the offseason, redshirt junior Tyler Jones endeared himself with his teammates and the Catamount Nation on Tuesday as he came home with a podium finish at the Golfweek Fall Challenge. Jones finished third overall to guide WCU to a fifth-place showing in its season opener at the par-72, 7,013-yard True Blue Golf Course.
