Cullowhee, N.C. – Runner-up in the 2024 race for the Southern Conference crown and picked third by the league’s head coaches in this year’s preseason conference poll, Western Carolina football was ranked No. 18 in the Stats Perform FCS Preseason Top 25 Poll released today. This season’s rank is two spots higher than the 20th spot WCU found itself in at the outset of last fall.
