Following almost exactly one year after the release of 2024’s Billboard 200-topper Short n’ Sweet, the Jack Antonoff-produced LP finds the pint-sized pop star sticking to her guns with her signature turn-of-phrase and oftentimes NSFW lyrics. At the same time, she branches further into some of her favorite retro genres with musical moments that sound like they’re straight out of the ’80s.

But while Carpenter may have had the most talked-about release this week, Man’s Best Friend is just one of several new albums that arrived at the tail end of August. Zach Top also showed off his lyricism on new country LP Ain’t In It for My Health, while Hayley Williams packaged her previously released collections of singles onto a proper album titled Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party, complete with a brand new track titled “Parachute.”

Plus, Skepta and Fred Again.. teamed up on collaborative effort Skepta .. Fred, Blood Orange squeezed out the sonically juicy Essex Honey and The Beths unleashed Straight Line Was a Lie, while DJ Khaled dropped a duo of singles and country ingenue Baylee Lynn debuted with first-ever single “Cautiously Optimistic.”

And while that’s a ton of new music to get through at once, Billboard, as always, wants to know which release is your favorite. Tell us your pick by voting in the poll below — it’s so easy, even a “Manchild” can do it.
