Cullowhee, N.C. The Western Carolina tennis team improved to 2-1 in Southern Conference play on Saturday afternoon using a commanding 6-1 decision over the visiting UNC Greensboro Spartans at the Catamount Athletic Complex. The 6-1 victory is the largest margin of victory for the Catamounts in series history, as WCU has taken three of their last four matches with the Spartans.
