Clinton, S.C. – Freshman Trey Spees jumpstarted a six-run rally in the top of the third inning with a solo home run as Western Carolina jumped out to a 9-2 lead over the opening five frames on Tuesday evening at Presbyterian before holding off the Blue Hose rally in scoring a 9-7 road victory at the PC Baseball Complex.
