Cullowhee, N.C. – The Western Carolina softball team begins Southern Conference play on Saturday, with mountain-rival East Tennessee State making the trip to Cullowhee for a three-game league-opening weekend set. The Catamounts and Bucs open the 2025 SoCon season on Saturday with a doubleheader slated for 1 p.m. before the Sunday finale, also slated for 1 p.m. as all three games are scheduled to be played at the Catamount Softball Complex.
