Cullowhee, N.C. – Hayden Friese belted a seventh-inning grand slam home run as part of driving in all five of Western Carolina’s runs on Saturday afternoon, but it was not enough as Eastern Illinois rode a strong start to claim the nonconference series finale 9-5 at Childress Field / Hennon Stadium.
