Cullowhee, N.C. – Western Carolina track and field team garnered well-deserved praise for its performance over the weekend at the home Catamount Classic as Shaneil Lysight was today named the Southern Conference’s Women’s Track Athlete of the Week. Lysight earned the honor after scoring three podium finishes at the 2025 Catamount Classic.
