JCSO Seizes Fentanyl, Methamphetamine in Whittier Traffic Stop

A routine traffic stop by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) Criminal Suppression Unit (CSU) led to the seizure of suspected fentanyl and methamphetamine in the Whittier area earlier this month.

According to a statement from JCSO, deputies conducted the stop on March 18, 2025, along Camp Creek Road for a traffic violation. During the stop, K9 Niko was deployed, leading to the discovery of approximately 5.2 grams of suspected fentanyl and about 0.8 grams of suspected methamphetamine.

As a result of the investigation, authorities charged Victoria Eden Toineeta with the following offenses:

  • Trafficking Opium or Heroin by Possession
  • Trafficking Opium or Heroin by Transportation
  • Possession of Methamphetamine

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


Law enforcement officials continue to emphasize the dangers of fentanyl and other illicit drugs within the community. The JCSO urges residents to report any suspicious activity as they work to combat drug-related crimes in the region.
