Jada Burton Named SoCon Player of the Week
Cullowhee, N.C. – Western Carolina point guard Jada Burton helped the Catamounts end the calendar year on a high note as she was today named the Southern Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week following her historic triple-double performance this week against Southern Wesleyan. Burton’s outing of 12 points, 10 rebounds, and 12 assists represented WCU’s first triple-double in program history and her conference weekly accolade is the first of her career.
