Remember when DAVE CHAPPELLE asked everyone to boycott “Chappelle’s Show” because ViacomCBS didn’t pay him enough money for it? And Netflix immediately granted his request?
Well, HBO Max just followed suit. They’re taking it down at the end of the year, on December 31st.
One of the HBO bosses said, quote, “We had a conversation with Dave. I won’t get into it, but it’s very clear that it’s a very unique and specific and emotional issue he’s got.”
