Cullowhee, N.C. – Western Carolina baseball returners Wyatt Stanley and Hayden Friese were both selected to the 2025 Coastal Plain League (CPL) All-Star game, scheduled for July 6-7 in Macon, Ga. Stanley, who has been playing for the Morehead City (N.C.) Marlins this summer will be the starting designated hitter for the CPL East All-Stars, while Friese earned his selection in the outfield with the Martinsville (Va.) Mustangs.
