Cullowhee, N.C. – Western Carolina baseball steps away from league competition this weekend, concluding a stretch where eight of nine games will be played away from home as the Catamounts travel to Atlanta for a three-game nonconference series against Georgia Tech. The series opens Friday with a 6 p.m. first pitch at Russ Chandler Stadium, continuing Saturday at 4 p.m., before concluding Sunday with a 1 p.m. start.
