Cullowhee, N.C. – Western Carolina men’s basketball begins its pursuit of the 2025 Southern Conference Championship on Friday night with an opening-round matchup against No. 8 seed Mercer from the Harrah’s Cherokee Center in Asheville. Friday’s regular-season finale rematch with the Bears is slated for a 5 p.m. tip-off.
