A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 6pm Thursday evening. Heavy snow accumulations across the region of 6 to 10 inches are possible along with a trace of ice. Heavy snowfall will make travel treacherous. The accumulations may also create power outages especially Wednesday through Thursday morning. A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather conditions are expected or occurring. Travel only in emergency situations and take cell phones. Wear a warm coat, gloves and boots.
