Western Carolina University Chancellor Kelli R. Brown announced that Lori A. Lewis is stepping down from her position as the university’s vice chancellor for advancement, effective today (Monday, Aug. 12). Brown made the announcement about the change in leadership for WCU’s Division of Advancement in a message to the campus community. Lewis had been serving as vice chancellor for advancement at WCU since June 2016. The Division of Advancement at WCU includes the offices of Development and Annual Giving, Alumni Engagement, and Advancement Services. A national search for a successor will begin immediately, and an announcement of an interim plan for leadership of the division will be forthcoming.
