Deputies in Haywood County are for looking to identify those involved in a stabbing incident that occurred Sunday night.
The suspect(s) were in a mid-90’s model white Ford Ranger extended cab with a stepside bed with damage to the front (driver’s side).
At 8 p.m. Sunday, a man was stabbed in the arm after he attempted to offer assistance to another man who implied he had a disabled vehicle.
This incident occurred just outside the city limits of Clyde on Old Clyde Road.
When the victim approached the man who was waving his arms (described as a white male, mid-30’s with blonde hair and short beard wearing a hoodie sweatshirt) the victim noticed another male and female sitting in the white Ford Ranger.
The victim rolled down his window and asked what was wrong. The suspect responded by asking first if the victim had any money. When the victim responded “no” the suspect said he “wasn’t sure if he needed a gas or a jump.” As the victim was getting out of his vehicle to assist, the suspect stabbed him in the arm. Shortly after, the individuals drove away from the scene in the white Ford Ranger.
