Escaped Inmates Steal Vehicle in Haywood County

Haywood County Sheriff’s Office detectives believe two individuals (27-year-old Ronly Diaz Pardo and 39-year-old David Allan Anderson) who escaped from a Florida jail briefly passed through Haywood County early Tuesday morning, dumped a vehicle and stole a different one.

A 1996 Lincoln town car which was reported stolen roughly one mile from the Washington county jail (located in Chipley, FL) was discovered early Tuesday morning in a parking lot near the dam at Lake Junaluskain Haywood County.

A 2001 single-cab white GMC with a broken driver’s side window and a diesel fuel tank in the truckbed was reported stolen this morning from Haywood Office Park off Crabtree Road which is in close proximity to the parking lot where the stolen Florida vehicle (Lincoln town car) was found.

Pardo and Anderson have no known ties to Haywood County. It is important for Haywood County citizens to know detectives strongly believe these individuals are no longer in or around Haywood County.
