“Dr. Strange” Beat “Trolls” and Mel Gibson at the Box Office

Marvel has another hit on its hands with “Dr. Strange”.  It opened at the top of the box office with $85 million, beating out the weekend’s other two new releases, “Trolls” and MEL GIBSON’s “Hacksaw Ridge”.  Here’s the Top 10 . . .

 

 

1.  NEW:  “Dr. Strange”, $85 million.

 

2.  NEW:  “Trolls”, $45.6 million.

 

3.  NEW:  “Hacksaw Ridge”, $14.8 million.

 

4.  “Boo! A Madea Halloween”, $7.8 million.  Up to $65 million in its 3rd week.

 

5.  “Inferno”, $6.3 million.  Up to $26.1 million in its 2nd week.
